With third-generation common rail injection, the diesel engines deliver exceptional performance (up to 105 kW/l capacity) with unbeatable fuel consumption levels (less than 5 l/100 km). Thanks to the engine block now being made solely of aluminium, weight is reduced by an enormous 20 kg. Futhermore both engines also come with a particle filter and a fuel filling protection system.
