The BMW 6 Series Convertible is available with a choice of three six-speed transmissions that ensure optimum power delivery to the driven wheels. As well as six-speed manual and automatic units, it is also available with BMW's Sequential Manual Gearbox (SMG). The shorter gearing on the 6 Series Convertible further underlines the car's sports-performance character.
