Perforated and ventilated compound brake discs form the heart of the high-performance brake system in the BMW M5. Able to withstand exceptionally high temperatures, they complement the performance of the V10 engine perfectly. They require less than 36 metres to go from 100 to 0 km/h. The brakes are mounted on the broad 19-inch wheels which also significantly contribute to driving safety thanks to their specially designed tyres.
