Now in its second year, Team McMillan were proud to host this spectacular event once again. As in 2005, we commissioned 11 leading New Zealand artists to create works of art on customised BMW bonnets.

Artists contributing work on bonnets are Russell Jackson, Jenny Dolezel, Mark Olsen, Sarah Guppy, Martin Ball, George Baloghy, Billy Apple, Peter O'Hagan, Mary McIntyre, Geoff Tune and Don Packwood. Emerging artists contributing work on other mediums are April Shin, John Pusateri, Stephanie Vollebregt, Danielle Meredith, Sam Mitchell, Kate Small, James Cousins, Sriwhana Spong, Peata Larkin, Hannah Symister, Richard Lewer, Evan Woodruffe, Joon Hee Park, Thomas Elliot, Thomas Pound, Emma Pratt, Meiling Lee, Clinton Phillips, Alice Blakely, Andrea Hopkins, Hamish Foote, and James Moore.

The Winning Bonnet, shown at top, by Jenny Dolezel won the Supreme Award, with Awards for Gold, Silver and Bronze going to John Pusateri, Richard Lewer and Kate Small respectively for their works on other mediums.

Several of the bonnets including the winners are on display in our New BMW showroom.
